Doode...where is that last picture from? Location...please. I want to go there and sit on that deck over the water all day...i mean help the local community install micro-hydro to provide electricity and build democracy and develop the capacity and enhance the economy by electrifying that flour mill(??) and putting the local donkey out of a job.
I started this blog to keep in touch with friends and family while I'm in Afghanistan. I use this blog to vent and explain (to others and myself) why I love Afghanistan so much.
I'm anonymous, so if you know my name - please don't use it. I've been told that only lame people are anonymous and this blog has turned out to be an open secret but it makes me feel better. Perhaps I'll come 'out' when/if I'm independently wealthy and I don't ever have to think about getting a job...

Panjsher or Ghorband river, I believe. It's really nice, isn't it?
The first two (with the kids) were taken in Panjsher. The third was taken right outside of Kabul.
:-) You're home is so beautiful. When you visit the river again, throw a branch or leaf or flower into it for me.
i will i will. :)
