Still plugging away. I think I'll go back to the U.S. to study for the bar. It's too hard here. I'm in the process of telling everyone. It's sad but it feels necessary and the right thing to do. I'll be back in Kabul by March, Inshallah.

A little about this blog & me
I started this blog to keep in touch with friends and family while I'm in Afghanistan. I use this blog to vent and explain (to others and myself) why I love Afghanistan so much.
I'm anonymous, so if you know my name - please don't use it. I've been told that only lame people are anonymous and this blog has turned out to be an open secret but it makes me feel better. Perhaps I'll come 'out' when/if I'm independently wealthy and I don't ever have to think about getting a job...

Whoa! When are you coming back?! Sorry to hear you have to leave but oh so excited about the prospect of you being stateside again.
I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving Kabul. I know it must be a difficult decision. Having just gone through the process, I don't blame you. Studying for the bar is a full time process. Having said that, I'll email you to offer some of my bar studying fun time supplies.
Woa. I'm away for a week and I miss major news like this. I know it was a difficult decision, so in that sense, I'm sorry to hear about it. But I am also selfish and will enjoy having you closer.
